El programa de Voz Suzuki esta aprobado por ISA (Asociación Suzuki Internacional). Ha sido especialmente diseñado para aprender técnica vocal y estilo de manera progresiva. Da a los estudiantes la posibilitad de comenzar escuchando canciones durante la etapa prenatal y continuar cantando hasta la edad adulta. El programa se ha desarrollado en Finlandia desde 1986. 

The SUZUKI™ Voice Program and repertoire, approved by the ISA, was developed by Dr. Päivi Kukkamäki, in Vantaa Finland at the request of Dr. Suzuki in 1986.

The program was fully researched and developed by Päivi Kukkamäki at Sibelius University over the course of a 15-year research project with teaching techniques and materials developed from 1987 to 2003. Her doctoral thesis was published in 2003 as: Laulun myötä kasvuun - Laulusuzukimenetelmän kehittämisprojekti.
